About me
Hi! I'm Dan, and I'm a Data/BI/Systems Analyst.
I've had diverse interests and hobbies throughout life, and found that most of all, I just liked learning about new things to the most granular detail. When I was young I played a lot of video games. I was obsessed with finding what the strongest or "best" thing in a game was. What I hadn't realized was how much this was like being an analyst, going on the hunt to find what's effective or valuable in any organization, system, or "game" of any kind.
I left a job in late 2021 where I was working in the movie industry as a systems engineer in the post-production mastering space. I always felt I would see issues on both the technical and human sides of business operations that others usually didn't. When I discovered that there are people that identify and propose solutions to these issues for a living, I knew I wanted to make a career change.
So, with some online resources, I've taught myself how to work with data using dbt, Python, SQL, and R. I'd love to use what the skills I've learned to benefit you or your organization. How can we take your game to the next level?

What can I do for you?
I can gather, clean, analyze, and present findings from any data you have to get the numbers to back the changes you want to make. If I'm not familiar with a tool that's required, I'll learn it.
I've done years of leadership and communications training, and I am confident in my ability to find common ground with anyone to work together effectively.
